Location: Hayward, Calif | Hey Guys, I'm wiring the alt. and happened to stop by an auto electric shop, looking for a circuit breaker. Got to talking to the guy and he informed me that a continuos duty solenoid pulls 15 amps. So if you have a 35amp sys that only leaves 20 amps to run everything else. Now there is something to think about !!! Jerry |

Pull in coil on a stater solenoid would draw that (maybe a bit more), at 15 amps, the coil would overheat and burn out
