Location: So. Cal | You already figured out your paint code. The trim code 53, which you omitted here is this blue fabric combo shown in this pic. MDL 145 is the 4dr Windsor.

If only I could find some of that fabric, I'm taking interiors this semester in college and could redo them correctly! |

The 2 lines of random numbers are actually read as vertical columns. Any 3 digit number would be an option code.
Your options would be: 361, 336, 342, 331, 335, 334, 311, 319, 322, 323
I can not read the lower right section, there are more options there.
The red circles shows an example of how to see the codes.

I'll try to get a better picture of the tag today. One of the previous owners painted the entire engine bay that weird green you see in the picture. Do you know what any of those options are off the top of your head?

Location: Pearland, Texas, McPherson, Kansas | Here is a much better picture. Unfortunately one of the screws is sized and stripped so this is the most it will come off without me cutting it. On the second and third lines, farthest to the left, the 2 numbers are 3 on the second from the top, and 5 on the third from the top.

What was the light package? |

I would expect that was a glove box light, trunk light and underhood light. Maybe the dash map light too if that wasn't standard in a Windsor. |

Yeah, I have all of those extra lights. Unfortunately, a previous owner took a can of blue spraypaint and covered the whole dash, including the lights, in paint. |

Location: Pearland, Texas, McPherson, Kansas | Alright, So after a year of messing with this car, I have a breakthrough and now we have enough options to match with factory stamped codes. However, i still do not know which codes go with which options. We already know that
342 = Hood ornaments (the double fin things in the middle)
331 = Vanity mirror
311 = Light package (Windsors only)
337 = Torqueflite
341 = Undercoat
333 = Cushioned Dash
332 = Solex Glass
329 = Electric Clock
325 = Power Brakes
and from a different post we also know that
361 - Power antenna (My Car does not have power antenna so this code does not line up for my windsor)
328 - Power windows
326 - 6-way power seat
343 - Fender ornament
349 - Dual headlamps
335 - Mirror - left outside rear view
334 - Mirror - Interior day/night
322 - Rear speaker
319 - Music master radio
323 - Heater / defroster
265 - Delivery route (factory to desler)
332 - Solex gass
325 - Power brakes
This leaves codes
361
336
The other Options My car has are
Power Steering
Jiffy Jet

Location: Pearland, Texas, McPherson, Kansas | Other than the two that i havent been able to deduce yet, this is how this tag should read
361 = (Power steering)
336 = (Jiffy Jet)
342 = Hood Ornaments
331 = Vanity Mirror
335 = Outside Mirror
334 = Day/Night Mirror
311 = Light Package
319 = Radio
322 = Rear Speaker
323 = Heater Defroster
337 = Torqueflite
341 = Undercoat
333 = Cushioned Dash
332 = Solex Glass
329 = Electric Clock
325 = Power Brakes
And Regarding the 265, that showed the shipping Route was Factory to Dealer from what I have been able to find. Not Sure about A9
Now this is just a shot in the dark on those two options

Location: So. Cal | I am thinking that maybe 346 is a gas powered heater because the number is close to the A/C number. Do you know what the number is for the gas powered heater? |

Location: So. Cal | The light blue '57 New Yorker 4dr hardtop that John bought out of Montana has this gas heater option too. Most of the parts are still there, but the fiberglass housing is broken. |
