Location: Muskego, WI | That is going to be a difficult item to find as the vast majority of trucks were manual. I would post a want add and check with Big M. |

Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | Oh they are out there...Even some later RV's with push button transmissions seemed to use them. Where the 56 Dodge car the same? You have a 3 speed or 2 speed? Marc.

Location: Buena Park, CA | '56 Dodge cars may be the same. And I have a pod out of a '64 truck that looks almost identical to the early truck versions as well as the '56 Dodge, but obviously a 5-button. If it has a Powerflite, I think the buttons out of any '56 may work. I may even have and extra set sitting around. |

Location: So. Cal | I have never seen a powerflite truck from '57-up. Every one of them were Torqueflites. I don't know if the powerflite was available in these trucks, but it might not have been once the torqueflite came on the scene. And I have never seen an earlier truck with any kind of automatic. |

Location: St.Catharines, ON CANADA | Can you send pics of your push button pod? My truck does not have orig. engine and tranny. I believe we got a 64 cable 727 trans. with a 318 poly. Tourqueflite 3 speed |

I apologize for interjecting here but I have a factory pic of the '57 truck button box and the parts book illustration
(its from the '59 Canadian book as the '57-'58 book does not have this illustration). I assisted a friend of mine in the same quest... The buttons themselves are from the "senior" '56 Chryslers and Desotos. The Powerflite trans is not shown as available in the parts books.

Location: Muskego, WI | It was wise not to offer the PF in the truck, could you imagine a work truck with no first gear? |
