Location: Mountain City, Tennessee | Please excuse the following simple question for I am a novice with the ball and trunnion universal joint.
I have to remove my transmission in a 1959 Desoto and know that the driveshaft has to be removed first. I assume that I disconnect the drive shaft at the rear of the propeller shaft first.
After that do I just undo the 9/16 nuts on the front of the propeller shaft and pull the drive line out from the bolts?
This is probably a very dumb question for most of you but I want to make sure of the proper steps involved. Thank you. |

Correct, rear first then front. |
