Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado | I was running around for work last week and stumbled across this in Pueblo, CO. The owner, Jim is selling the car for $4500 and let me get up close and personal so i shot some pictures and told him i would post it up here so it can go to a good home. As you can see it does have some rust issues, that said its mostly there. The motor, trans and push buttons are gone and are not included with the car. It had some options, tinted windows, dual antennas (the second is in the trunk) and well, thats what i saw off the bat. He did state he has the title for the car.
I am not selling this car myself, Please contact Jim @ 719-252-0771. Leave a message if you don't get him at first. The seller has shipped cars overseas and did not seem fazed when i joked about it going to norway "oh yeah, sold a car and shipped it over last year".

Location: Lower Mainland BC | What would a Swede (or a Finn) do? Winter is ending and they will want to get out in their cars not start another project.
Maybe.
I am surprised that a 57 seems to have two 6 x 9 speakers in factory holes, a little in advance of the public availability of stereo records.

Location: Oley, PA | It's a cool car, but pretty rough. Not sure if he'll find a buyer at that price.
I'd guess that those speakers were aftermarket. While the 57's did come with three 6x9 cutouts in the rear, I think only a single rear speaker was available as an option, and even then, not a commonly seen option on a Firesweep. When ordered, it was usually mounted in the center cutout. One of the side cutouts would be used as an air intake for the optional rear defroster blower. | |
