| Are the hard metal parts (lower dash, switch housings, gauge surrounds etc.) the same paint code as the exterior of the car ? The car is a '57 Saratoga FWIW. | |

Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | The answer is...yes, and no. It depends on the exterior colour, in relation to the interior colour chosen. I have cars here that have interior metal painted the same colour as the exterior, and some that aren't. And some of the interior colours that don't match the exterior, are not even a '57 Chrysler exterior colour that was available. For example, my Windsor (Canadian Saratoga) has the brown/tan interior, and the instrument pods look to be "Spice Brown", a '57 DeSoto colour. And the dash, pillar covers, etc are a pink colour. The exterior colours are Sahara Tan, with Botany Brown.
Yet my 2 door Windsor is Ocean Green Iridescent, with Pinefrost Green. And the dash, pods, etc are Pinefrost. | |

Location: Suwanee, GA | See if this helps. Enter your year and make to view both interior and exterior paint codes. Some vehicles use a flatter interior paint.

Of course, "Copperglow Metallic", of which I suspect is the colour used on the instrument pods in my 4 door, has no code available...  | |
