Location: Georgetown Texas | Brought home my second D-500 tonight, what a bizarrely optioned car!
We have a solid Black with red interior 1958 Dodge Coronet D-500 4dr Sedan, with factory A/C, power steering, exhaust deflectors, Torqueflight and radio.
How many 58 D-500 4-door sedans were made? Can't be a whole lot I would imagine. If anyone an decode the data tag, it would be greatly appreciated!

Location: Lower Mainland BC | Not sure about 58's but in 56 you could eventually (in the spring of 56) add D500 engine, brakes, etc. to anything including wagons when placing an order. My CR D500 is a 4 dr sedan.
PNT = AAA = all ebony black

Way to go Ryan! What are your plans?
I would love to get it running and driving again. Odometer reads 72K, and the motor turns over.
(I wish I had the space and could have kept that 58 Coronet you have now! haha.)

Show us the ENGINE!
Might just be a D500 badge stuck on the back of a flat-head 6 car for all we know.

Location: Georgetown Texas | Got the back seat out... lots of "goodies" This was a a relief! Couple of new bulbs, and we have tail lights! Looks like someone did a brake job right before it was parked.

Location: Georgetown Texas | The engine turns over fine with no plugs in it, when I re-installed them the starter isnt turning it over quick enough to start. Good I guess, means we have some kind of compression.
Took the starter out and will have it gone through.
Few more pics:
Started hand buffing the original paint, I think it will be nice!
Chrome polished up: Love Year of Manufacture plates, especially black plates on a black car. "Good hands, bad taste in cars!"
