Location: Oley, PA | Technically speaking, my very first car was a 56 Coronet Lancer 2-Dr in the same colors but exactly reversed. My brother had purchased the car for $25 around 1977 and he gave it to me after he had lost interest. Sadly, it was badly rusted and was way too big of a project for my 15 year old self. I ended up taking it to the junkyard where I think they gave me $50 for it. I still have somewhat guilty feelings about letting it go. Every now and then I think I'd like to have another one.
A few months later I bought my first real drivable car, a 1964 Chrysler 300K for $400. |
