This car looks to be in very nice condition.

Personally, I don't care for the color combination. Does any know if this two-toned scheme (upper half-lower half) was a factory option? I've never seen any 61 brochures that showed a car painted that way, but I have seen at least a couple 61 Plymouths other the years that were done this way.

Yes, this was a later production option called "Sport tone", offered May 12, 1961. The data plate paint code bears out that this car was factory equipped

with the option. Very rare indeed.
