| They look great in the 12 pictures that never show the top side that you will look at when bolted to the car. Not one shot of thae top at all. Yes they look great from th bottom side that rarely gets pitting or wear on the chrome. Look at the pictures closely. One shot kinda shows the top, but it has no light there to see anything.
Buyer beware. ask for more pictures before buying. |

Location: So. Cal | Correct. Do you know what application used the really short cable? Would that be a dash mount version? |

Also for 59 Dodge, possibly 57 - 59 , as it fits to dash just below the Trans pushbuttons , I think the Longer cable ones are Imp and maybe Chrysler when the Toggle Knob fits to the right side on the dash of the steering wheel. ( hence longer cable needed).

The long cable is used on unibody fullsize cars as it enters the interior via the keyhole in the firewall (indicated by the square rubber piece the wire pass thru) not in the sheetmetal panel behind the fender just under the mirror as (i believe) in Imperials with a round grommet.

Location: North Australia | Jon, thankyou for the offer, much appreciated. Sid, thanks for clearing up the square grommet thing for me, I was wondering about that. I can confirm my 60 Imperial has the round grommet as shown in above pic. What is a little odd is I found the same hole and grommet in the passenger side of my car. It did not come with a passenger side outside rear vision mirror. I have fitted one (to enable the car to be registered and driven), but the chrome is crazed.
