| I have several 1957-1958 Chrysler radios, in varying conditions including at least 1 very nice working one. Have 4 or 5 available. I want to trade one for a nice 57-58 Desoto radio. |

| Garrett, I have a standard five button model for a '57-58. Chrome is pretty decent with only a few very small pits. It plays, but the
dial slips a little. |

Location: Melbourne, Australia | Garret make sure you get a 58 Type the 57 fit the same but are not as good . You need Model 853 for a standard 58 type 5 button radio . east way tio tell is a 57 has like a fluted power pak on the back , where as the 58 doesn't .
The radio should be stamped model 853 anyway . Model 846 is a standard 57 type |

Location: So. Cal | You mean instructions beyond wiring up a 4 ohm speaker, inserting the antenna cable, grounding the chassis, and giving it power? |

Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | Chances are they don't work anymore...the electrolytic capacitors in them have long ago dried up. And even if they work, a capacitor could fail at any time, which could take out a tube or the output transistor. It's best to service it before installation in your car. |
