Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | Bummer. Don't you dislike people that don't know what they have or 'Change their Minds'? I was looking at some 1958 Belvedere 2 door Hardtop door panels and the seller decided not to sell. Hmmmm, I dislike those kind of people. |

| The "I don't want to sell it now" can be really really annoying if it's something you have been looking for for a long time. On this I'm just glad I had him check the engine numbers before I bought it....... This is for a '57 Desoto so has to be a 341 |

| I have a couple of them that have been disassembled for storage. Are you looking for an S25 or S26 block? |

| They were torn down to inspect the components for wear / damage and to more easily store them in the garage. They have standard cranks and bores, but i wouldn't want to
put them back together without boring the blocks or grinding the cranks. Have you torn your's down to determine what is damaged? |

| I have not. I'm not looking to do a full rebuild on an engine as that's 5k around here. I am guessing mine is seized due to rus.t It was stored dry indoors though but has not run since 1965. I will disassemble mine and see if I can get it to turn but I'd like to have another motor lined up and keep my old one as a spare. |
