Well --- Thanks, Tom! I guess it was more than 35 years ago when you outfitted about 3 or 4 cars for me!! Fast forward a bunch of years and SMS together with Gary Goers finished my next 3 or 4 cars. I have nothing but praise for all these teams!!
Many Thanks,
Greg |

Location: Hickory, NC | And now there's an absolute monopoly.
And if the "same level of customer service you expect and deserve will be maintained" means taking your money with no product on hand, trying to pass off incorrect material as original, myriads of excuses, rude customer service, a incompetent owner and refusing to give refunds...then we are in good hands with Doofus Doug!
I also like how Original Auto was always in agreement on how idiotic Doug and his monkeys are...always making comments on their horrible business practices...then they sell out to them. Cash is King. I guess from now on I will just use whatever I can find at the local upholstery supply company. SMS is a joke. I will not be doing any kind of business with them. |

Location: northern germany | thats pretty devastating news for me as i was just about to order from oai. so how do i get the interior done? everyting from the "upholsterer" just doesn't look period for me. while i can shape/restore everything sheet metal and fix mechanical things i just can't fabricate these crazy 50s fabrics and molded vinyls and as austin said, they have the monopole now and its going to show in the price, just can't afford that.

SMS is the only company in the Restoration Market where this policy is seen as normal. Waiting a year for anything in this day and age is absolutely absurd. |
