Anyone here with a 57-59 Imperial had their door panels redone?. I have a '57 2dr, the cardboard is bad (typical) but no one seems to be able to make the indented section of the cardboard at the top. I know it's been done as I've seen restored cars.... But can't find any interior shops that can

I made up a set of 2dr panels by splicing the additional 6 inches or so to a good set of 4dr panels. I used fiberglass tape and epoxy and it worked out fine.

If you've got a year or more, ask SMS. I THINK they told me they have over 10,000 door panel patterns.
It took 18 months for my panels but they look great although that was 3 years ago and I believe at the time, they were looking to get more help?

Thanks appears I may have to fix them myself. I wish SMS would just sell me the cardboard, then I might not have to wait years for doorpanels.
