Hi everyone! New to this site and not sure where to post this but came across a source for a hard to come by product that I would like to share with. I replaced my rusted out choke tube on my 1955 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer from a 1/4" scrap tube I had laying around. Used the old tube as a guide and bent the tube with an economy tube bender and then added the old flare fitting after cleaning.

Looked everywhere for the woven cover but could not anything that came close to the look of the factory asbestos woven cover. I came across Classic Tube in New York and spoke with Tim Slattery (Senior Sales Rep) 800.882.3711 who said he could possibly fix me up.

Told him what size tube (1/4") and what length (29"). in less than a week this is what was provided

Looks good, I need some too. I’ll check into it. I just need to determine the proper routing for my tubing, the current one doesn’t look original. Thanks For posting.
