Interesting car. Dual fuel for gas or propane. It runs and drives, and for only $1000 obo, it might worth someone's while. That said, this car has some unusual rust areas (and a lot of bondo that seems to fill them) on the drivers door, and could be hiding more elsewhere. But hey, it's a $1000 car.

I guess you missed the part about the car is currently running on propane. Apparently that is part of the propane vapourization/feed system. (??!!)

Yes, liquid propane (LPG here) goes into the round thing on the inner fender (called a gas converter) and it is converted to a gas, which is then fed to a mixer (under the air cleaner) then through the carburettor. The converter also has coolant hoses to it to prevent it from freezing up. There are a few different systems, but if I have to like one, its this one, another system uses a big ugly aluminium snorkel thing that puts the mixer over the side of the engine.

The mixer works on vacuum to determine how much lpg goes into the engine

Care actually looks mostly solid, but something funky going on with that door. This car is a steel at $1000. If it wasn't over a 1000 miles away, I'd be there to buy it right now!
