What color is it supposed to be?
45K for a car that's been repainted a non-stock color seems like a bit much in my book.
Umm... I think that you are going to have to eat your words.
The PNT code is 1PPP which I take to mean single colour, Gallant Gold polyurethane (PPP). So close to or original colour.

Looks to be about right, but also looks to have been a closed door paint job and it also looks like its been
unloved for some time
Its a lot of car, but not 45k worth of car to me as it needs a complete redo so you would have to Barrett and Jackson it because its
probably another 30k + to bring it up to par

1958 steering wheel... Did coronets have the lancer on the glove box?
Yes...On all Hardtops and Convertibles.
its lost its 325 Hemi and been replaced with a Chrysler Hemi power plant...not worth anything near the asking price
Also apart from the 58 steering wheel...Its also got a 58 Speedo housing
What did they do with the Generator? >>>
I bought my 57 Dodge Coronet 2 DR HT over 40 years ago from the original owner and it did not have the Lancer on the glove box or any evidence that it was ever there. I thought I read somewhere else that the Lancer on the glove box was only standard on the Royal and Custom Royal.

My old '57 Coronet had nothing on the glovebox door. It was black with a chrome ring and lock just like the gauges beneath the speedo cluster surrounded in black and chrome..

The guy missed a bet. He could have bought the D501 emblem that was on eBay not too long ago, put it on and called his car a D-501. At least then the $45K would be (slightly) more believable.
