On behalf of another individual with this inquiry, what would be the drum-to-drum dimension of an original rear axle assembly from a '55 Plymouth?

I've seen some charts that address such dimensions of "newer" axle assemblies, but I haven't seen any for the '50s.

Thanks,
Jason.

Hi and welcome.
Can't help you with the dimensions but if anyone is willing to share this info I would like to update the list of rear axle dimensions on my website;

Pretty sure it is 60 ",...... but I can't find my notes, .....I will confirm when I find them.

Yes it is 60 inches ...............and if it matters the spring pads are 41 " Centre to centre (centre-bolt hole).
