Elite Veteran Posts: 689 Location: Winston Salem, N.C. have 56 belvedere wagon replaced 270" v8 with 1958 318". Need to change front shocks (they are worn). Monroe and Gabriel HD Gas Shocks have been recommended. Does anyone know parts numbers for today's shocks that will fit on my car. I called a parts store and they said the challenge is to identify the shocks with the correct enumeration for this car. Elite Veteran Posts: 792 Location: Buena Park, CA Tell them you want those shocks to fit 77-82 Corvettes. I run the KYB KG4550's on both of my '56s and that is the application.
