I'm looking for a 1960-1962 Chrysler Golden Touch 7 button radio. Only concerned about the clear plastic dial face, must be in nice condition with crisp color of the lettering. Will buy whole radio or just dial face. Thank you.

You should just make it new out of clear plastic through a machine shop. You can even have them mill in the lettering. Make a couple of them and sell them to others.

I have one but the gold lettering is faded off. The space for the lettering is so small that it’s impossible to have a pin striper to paint it, just tried it. The next plan is to have the letters engraved deeper, but maybe someone has a nice original one out there?

Thanks to hemidenis, the radio has a beautiful dial. The lettering was engraved deeper to allow it to be painted and have the original appearance. Not easy to find an engraver that does plastic, but he was able to locate one that did an awesome job.

Txs guys
Tried several candidates for this, probably around 12, I even talked to a woman that do engraving in glass, but nobody want to touch it. Not even take it from my had to look at it.
This particular artisan just liked the challenge, and probably saw my desperation too. "it was the first time I engraved Plexiglas in 37 years doing this" he said
