Hello

I have these two head gaskets which I don't remember anymore the maker but they have fiber on one side and metal on the other.

Does anybody know which side hoes towards the head ?

If there is no marking as to the direction, it doesn't matter.

Set it on the block or head & see if everything matches up. The Fel-Pro ones I just put on my 331 are as described & went on one way only.

Probably should use spray on Copper-Kote on the metal side. Lay it flat so it doesn't run.

I just got a reply from the Summitracing technical assistance and they say the metal side goes towards the block.
I share this info with you all as it could alwways come handy.
