Location: San Antonio, TX | Well one man's minor rust is another man's rot I guess. Gotta love a spartan Flite sedan to dive into restoring this one. Interesting car none the less. |

Location: Parts Unknown | Fireflites came standard with the sweep trim, so either this car was special
ordered without, or it has been reworked since.

Location: Upstate NY | But I am a weirdo that like sedans that nobody else likes. I think the ride may be more than sporty and have a sense of solid quality posts and all. But I really like 4 door New Yorkers and Imperials but I can't afford to restore the later. I do not like 4 door sedan Firesweeps. it doesn't fit the feeling for me. FIredomes kind of but high end fireflite a and New Yorkers yeah! That's quality ride!!! imperial 4 doors loaded is my dream!!!! Someone should restore this car. not for the money, there's no money in sedans, but for the car, the time, the feeling of driving a real quality car. |

They're affordable! That said, I don't care for all those pillars on any 57-59 DeSoto, Dodge, or Plymouth. I think they look good though on the Chrysler's and Imperials. The 60-61 sedans look great across every marque to me. |

Location: Parts Unknown | Single color, Haze Blue Metallic. Same color as my car. Most interesting.
I see it is spartanly equipped for a Fireflite. Maybe the sweep was special
order delete ???
I am always in a quandary about the 58 DeSoto side trim. Basically, I
don't like it. 57 set the bar so high, anything else just looks less "on point".
The monotone car looks elegant in that color, but the single spear with a
kick up at the end is jaunty and clashes with the formal tone of the long
wheelbase sedan and sedate color. But I like unusual builds, so what the
hey ? If it was built this way, it sure would be a standout in a field of rarely
seen 58 Fireflite sedans ! |

Location: The Mile High City | Very interesting. No code under the "CS" section of the data plate to indicate it came any other way than a standard Fireflite would. I will put it in the decode page too. |
