Guys I was on here 6 or 8 months ago about some info on a 1960 desoto adventure I can buy.Talked to the man a few days ago about buying the car along with a lot of extra parts,i don't have the health or time to fix it like I want to so I going to try to just turn a little profit on the car,i will have around 5,900 in the car by the time I get it home and pay the tax and everthing to make a clear title to it,would like to get 7,900 for the car if anyone might be interested.Car is fully loaded with the orginal engine transmission 383 auto and it does have some rust issues and a small hole in the frame but not really bad.but the good news is he has a another complete front frame for the car along with fenders, rear quartes, another complete dash, california seats to go in it along with a ton of another things.Let me know if any of you guys might be interested and I will talk about what we can and cannot do. My e mail is robinson6566@bellsouth.net
The back finn has had some damage at some point in time as the bondo is cracking out some, and the rear brakes have been upgraded to a newer one but will come with the old ones.

If the front (sub) frame has rust issues, very likely the rest of the car has (SERIOUS) rust issues too. The sub frame is usually the last thing that rusts away. Also please be more precise about the fin damage. Could be a fair price but if the body is badly rusted and the fin damage is from an accident with a warped rear quarter, it is too much. I guess nobody (here at least) will buy it unseen for almost 8k.

If you can post photos of the worst areas, you will rapidly rule a
sale in or out at that price. Personally, an all-black Adventurer is
pretty high on the awesome scale, worth the trouble to take on a
bit more work to end up with a really impressive end product. I
can't speak to the price being high or low, but if a person really
wanted a 60 Adventurer with exceptional curb presence, you step
up when they are offered and don't sweat the price if it is on the
ballpark. It does not seem an unreasonable number in the current
market to me.

I bought my 60 Adventurer based on about 25 quality pictures and got what I thought I was getting. High resolution, not blurry, good light.

Where is the car located? Maybe someone on here is close enough to see it in person. It'd also give us an idea what kind of environment the car has been exposed to. There's a lot of states where year after year of road salt can make an undercarriage look like Swiss cheese.

If you're going places, this is the car to get you there. The car you will either own or envy.
