The very first outing for my convertible was to the 2015 Goodguys street rod show in Puyallup WA. Every year since then it has been there, driven 120 miles a day for 3 days in a row, with the drive being the best part. In 2016 it won an award, the next year it was displayed in the paintshop's booth so ineligible, and again this year it was honored with an award. Like most of you I don't do this for trophies (16 in 4 years) but the recognition for your hard work is nice. What I find remarkable is that it is being honored twice in 3 years at a major street rod show of some 2500 amazing cars. The comments of the attendees, and the announcer as I drove through to accept the award, were very positive. Most were to the effect of "you see so many 57 Chevys, but a Dodge????" Anyway, cruising the fairgrounds and seeing all the smiles was a lot of fun.

esp a convert.

Ive been watching and even the project cars are drying up.

From Hemmings and Classic Car there is only 2 57-59 cars available.

The one is the 500$ 59 fire parts car and a 50k 58,000$ nice one.

https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/dodge/coronet/2122956.html

we need someone to repop the whole car (there are multiple 57 chevy full body stampings)...

Thank you - if you hadn't been willing to let this car go I'd still be dreaming about the one I had in high school and sold for $100. I still think it was a D501 A/T convertible but can't prove it now.
