that car was on a car show on TV, some high school "car repair" program was going to fix it up. i guess it was too much work?

If you're thinking of "My Classic Car", that was a 59 Royal also, but it was turquoise and white, it ran and drove.

Edit: to see the car, click on view full episode and it's at about the 9 minute mark

3rd times a charm....or is this the 4th listing?

"Relisted because winning bidder Kjell Granberg of Sweden did not pay."

It's hard to tell why cars are relisted numerous times on Ebay. I've had 2 classic cars on Ebay, the 1st was with a reserve close to market value. I got results like this guy, winning bidder flakes out shortly after the auction ended, ended up selling locally. The 2nd car I listed very low starting bid with no reserve. Both cars were bid up to about what I thought they were worth, but the one with no reserve sold the 1st time around to a guy that drove 10 hours the next day to pick it up and paid cash.
Full disclosure...the 2nd car was in better cosmetic/functioning condition (new paint), but they both ran and drove well and both never had any rust.
