This is a reproduction of the 1958 Plymouth „V“ grille emblem. This may be a useful alternative to dented, faded and very rare originals. How it is made: 3D drawing, metal cast mold, bronze metal cast, gold plating 24 carat. This is real metal. It is polished to a high glossy look. Weather resistant, scratch resistant. The gold color matches the original very good, although it has a more brilliant shine than the original V that I have on my own car. It comes with 2 inner threads and 2 screws, ready for mounting on an original base. Although it´s very accurate please note that this is a „hand made“ reproduction. Due to imperfections during the casting process it can´t be 100% perfect like a nowadays industrial production. But the imperfections are very small. You can only spot them if you look very close. But who would like to kiss the grille emblem? Personally I think that a 100% flawless emblem does not match a 60 year old car. I only can say that I would put it on my own car without doubt.
