I'm not sure that taking a survey on a forum like this is going to get you where you want to be. The first step I'd think would be to contact FCA to validate your own car. Asking folks on a forum is going to be only as good as a persons words
can be and that's not saying much these days at the moment. I wouldn't take anybodys claim without seeing a copy of the build sheet PERIOD. I'd be doubtful if it's "the only one left" as the Fury and Belvedere 2 door Hardtop
cars are pretty much the platforms where you'd expect to find that motor and I'd bet maybe as high as 1-2 percent of production were built with it but that is sheer speculation. A wagon, a four door, Savoy, or even a Plaza would be much
more uncommon and we know there have been car like that built with the optional GC350. You might want to check out the WPC club and the Plymouth owners club.. they might be more helpful but even then I don't
think you'll get any hard numbers on cars that were built other than the hard production numbers of 36,043 total number of Belvedere 2-dr Hardtops built in 1958. The GC350 was a $324 option and the sure grip
was a $50 option via standard catalog of american cars. You seem to be focusing on the rarity and it's rare for sure but I don't see how you get any hard numbers or how you can get to "1 of 1" or "the only one left." If your car is
what you think it is, it's rare that's for sure!

Yes, I have seen (and heard of) several non-Fury 1958 Plymouths with the Golden Commando 350.
No doubt about it - it is RARE - but I don't think it's nearly as rare as 1-of-40 or anything like that. It was an option on any Plymouth, and not terribly expensive. But I do think the ones that were built were beat on pretty hard and were used up by about the same time yours was. At one point these cars could be found in running condition for 50 bucks. They didn't stand a chance, so their survival rate is low.

The Belvedere ht above was born with a 318, not a 350. Never heard from or saw a 58 Belvedere with a factory bigblock before. I was guessing 40 judging from the very few big block 1960 non Furys. I only know of 2 still in existence. One Belvedere coupe, the other a Savoy 2 door sedan. 40 at most for 1958 can't be far off.

Well I had a '58 Fury red n white with a golden comando. And I agree I call major BS on that engine in them pictures. VEry nice car indeed but BS. I want to see a close of pic right below the distributor on that thing, and under the drivers side exhaust manifold. Now I have no idea how rare my cars are but I do know that the years for 2 of them are don't show in rubber steals molding catalog. Usually this is because so low of production numbers warrants no remade parts due to very low need or demand. To me that sucks lol. But in fairness we do know Chrysler had very low production numbers for some cars and yes of only 2 made only 1 may be known in existance. But not every car is a Barret Jackson blow away bidding retirement fund, only mine are so there. Some of the prices people want for cars that have been sitting for 40 years or more to me are completely assanine as well.

This is purely anecdotal but the only one I ever saw was my own 58 Fury, bought when it was 10 years old and still all original. In answer to Sid, I owned a 60 Belvedere 2 dr. sedan with a 361 GC and 3 speed stick also original.

I remember many cars built with big blocks for towing purposes. My
friend Dave has an unmolested 1963 Dodge 4s with a 426 Max Wedge.
complete, right down to the offset dual quads. He got it from the original
owner, who told him he special ordered the car with that engine to two
his camper trailer. I once saw a 58 Plymouth wagon built this way too.
Had the 350 with inline dual fours. It was all original and was still in the
hands of the original owner. Sure it was rare, against 250,000 cars built,
but it wasn't THAT rare. As someone wrote above, 99% of them got beat
to death and junked when fins were the anethma of cool.
