Is there a heavy duty sway bar that will fit a 56 dodge?


There were two sizes of sway bar for the 56 Dodges. The D500s with the full Heavy Duty suspension, e.g. 6 leaf rear springs, got a thicker front bar than the normal 56 Dodges. Not sure what you might find now a days.

The 1554 747 bushing ("cushion") PN listed in the eBay advert does show up in the 55-56 Parts lists:

Location: Buena Park, CA		You can run one of the thicker bars out of a 55-56 Desoto or Chrysler as an upgrade.
