I am planning to to put 61 Chrysler brake booster and master cylinder to my 59 Dodge (that has no power brakes and has kinda delete plate instead of booster)
Noticed that cowls are slightly different in these cars so I havent taken assemblies off yet.
So does the 61 Chrysler booster assembly bolt on there?
What other booster/master cylinder combo have you used if not original type ?

If that 61 Chry has 11" x 3" brake shoes, put the complete brake ass'y, ball joint to ball joint on that Dodge and you won't need a booster. I've already done it and it works great! Jerry

Booster will work. Master Cylinder will work. You will need a power brake pedal assembly from a 59 Mopar as well as the booster support plate for the firewall. 57/8 may be the same, but I don't have my parts books in front of me right now.

1961 Chrysler DOES NOT have 11" x 3" Brakes ----
1957 - through - 1962 used 12" x 2 1/2" "Center Plane" Brakes........
11" x 3" started on the "C" Bodies MOPAR world in 1963...................
