Having zero luck trying to find a supplier of Trinadad carpet for my 58 Build. It was carpet with either gold or silver threads woven into it. Was used mostly in late 50’s pontiacs.

Thanks!

A while back someone was advertising in the Pontiac Club magazine, "Smoke Signals" that they could make this carpeting. I looked through the back issues I have but I've only got 2018 magazines and except for some guy wanting nearly $5,000 for an NOS set I didn't find anything.I called the Pontiac Museum and there said they had gotten some for a restoration project for the museum but they couldn't remember who they got it from. They thought it might have been SMS and suggested a google search. That turned up at least one source that said the trinidad carpet is made by Auto Custom Carpets. Hope this helps.

A friend of mine with two 56 Desoto Adventurers tracked some down, more than A few years ago.
Doug Dressier the President of The National Chrysler Product Club. I think he bought all this supplier had. Contact him thru the club website. Good Luck!
