Location: Locked in my Canadian garage.... | I've got a Plodge- 1958 Dodge Regent. It's going to be upgraded suspension and brakes. Not stock
The rear springs appear to be 20" front segment, 35" rear segment, 55" overall length. This is by all accounts the same dimension as an A body MoPar rear leaf spring. I have heard already to use the 5 leaf versions, I assume for weight.
Anybody have any tips? Or am I going in trial and error? lol |

Location: NorCal | Marc is trying to show you what springs of your dimensions are available and, yes, your FL springs have the same dimensions of most A-bodies. I would imagine the weight difference makes a direct interchange questionable. Sometimes numbers alone don't make an interchange. |

Location: Locked in my Canadian garage.... | A bodies same measurements, and I have HEARD the five leafs per pack springs are the ones to use, but it's going to be trial and error for sure. One set of springs that has five leafs isn't necessarily the same rate as another, I know!!!
Just weird no 57/58/59 listing? |

There is a big gap in their early Mopar offerings, i.e. from 1953 to 1963, tumbleweeds. Nada. Dust in the wind.

Location: Locked in my Canadian garage.... | Yeah we had a 63 Dodge. Tossed in lighter SuperStock A body springs. Worked awesome.
I'm picky about the way a car sits, I'll just keep on changing things if necessary to get a car to sit the way I want. I'm same way with tire fit etc.
I thought 57/58/59 MoPars would have a lot more parts loving than they seem to...?!?! Interior stuff too!!?? |

It's not like a 55-56-57 Chevy where you can build a new one from nothing by ordering stuff from the Old Car Center in Langley.
This old Mopar stuff isn't for lazy sissies.
