Location: Louisiana | One of my dreams has always been to build a monochrome convertible like the one that appears in the brochure. A car like this might be a good place to start. Most surviving ragtops are either $80K+ creampuffs or rusted beyond any reasonable chance of restoration. The few convertibles you see almost always have the color sweep. One thing that's always unsettled me is that convertible windshields for the 55-56's, to my knowledge, don't interchange with anything else. There's also the matter of obtaining or reproducing headers and top bows. Oh well, a guy can keep dreaming.
