Congrats!!
You do know that now you have to post up all sorts of photos, especially that build sheet. It might be the "Rosetta Stone" of 57 Dodge VIN decoding.
Here is some hints on how to post photos to this forum (NOTE: *.jpeg photos from an iPhone DO NOT WORK. Need to be *.jpg)

Well the ones that you've now added leave me speechless. WOW. You are so lucky. Beautiful car.
Tell us more about the car and its engine and options so we can relate to the build/broadcast sheet.
(Please)
In the meantime, Paint code SLS = heather green roof and fins, glacier white saddle and heather green lower (but you knew that)

A gorgeous new toy!! Good for you!!
It obviously has all the CRL equipment but not many other options.
TF, undercoating, delivered by truck, basic accessory group without a radio, PS, PB,rear bumper guards, plastic steering wheel and standard wheel covers.
I don't remember what "axle C" means but when you get to checking out final details, check with me and I will guide you in your search.

Location: Fleetwood, Pa | Other than being a Custom Royal Lancer it's pretty stripped. It does have power steering and brakes, but is a radio delete car, no washers. It has the 325 ci 4v engine and torqueflite trans, dual exhaust with chrome tips. Standard hubcaps, as you can see, not sure if it had wide whites originally. What confuses me is, it doesn't have chrome headlite bezels. I thought CRL's were all supposed to....

Not sure what "O7" tire code is but I probably have it in my notes somewhere. The chrome bezels seem to be hit and miss. Maybe an early/late thing?

Location: Lower Mainland BC | Thanks for posting those new photos. You really have a winner there. That interior should clean up real good. (Don't get the cloth bits too wet, the organic padding underneath might bleed back through).
The yellow Jan. 24/57 shipping tag makes sense relative to the production data of Jan. 21 (57). The engine number is somewhat in the middle of the KDS-1001 to KDS-287538 as is the Detroit-made VIN between 37240001 and 37321614. The broadcast sheet and the cowl tag don't agree 100% which is confusing (maybe LD3Greg will straighten things out).
I've rotated and enhanced some of your photos:

Location: NY & VT | Wow that is amazing, what a time capsule indeed, and original, the best. Wish Neil was here to give us his wisdom, he'd love this car. Wasn't his "Horrie" a '57 2 dr. CRL? Lots of info on his car here. Anyone know what happened to it? Hope his wife kept it in memory of him.
My Grampa had a '57 CRL 4 dr hardtop he bought new. I've had a '58 Dodge, but not a '57, and a lot of "57-58 DeSotos and Chryslers. But in over 40 years in the FL hobby I think that '57 Dodges have become my most favorite FL car of all.

The last time I spoke with Norma she was thinking about selling the car. I agreed that the offer she got was not enough. I haven't heard anything more.

Location: Fleetwood, Pa | A productive day in the garage......I cleaned up the drivers door panel just to see how nice it would get and it cleaned up real nice, like a one year old car! I also polished the diecast vent window trim as well as the door glass trim....everything came out beautiful! Next I polished all the stainless and chrome on the front end.....once again, beautiful!

Not sure what you are using but the chrome and stainless are good candidates for Quick Glo (which Jay Leno really likes). I've used it on slightly pitted window-related stuff and it is amazing.
