I have everything brand new -- no confusion, no playing games --
Call me. -- Craig. 516 - 485 - 1935 , West Hempstead, New York.

I bought brake parts for a '60 Dodge Polara we are restoring at Smitty's Classic Cars to replace the old stuff we removed. These included hoses, wheel cylinders, e-brake cables (yeah, I know these didn't come on the car from the factory but we are putting it back together just as it came apart), and the 11"X 3" brake shoes.

Craig at Mobile Parts was very helpful and I received everything complete (he has a source for new cables made to order) within 2 weeks during Christmas! And at a very competitive cost.

If you haven't tried Mobile Parts, you may want to do so. I'm not sure of all items he has but the brakes were no problem. Just give him a call and see if he can help - it's worth a call for sure.

When you say E Brake cables , what does that mean ? Being in Australia that's not a descrition we would use . Also you said he made up special length cables for you , why did you need that done on this car ?

Also I googled Mobile Parts New York , and it doesn't come up .

Do you have an email or webs address , or are they purely a phone order place , as I can call from over here and its no big deal , but it would nice to see his parts on a website or the like if he has one .

Emergency or hand brake cable.
He must be talking about adding emergency or hand brake to replace the drum style on the transmission
or even adding a sprag type park brake like on the later models.
