| I can't seem to find wires long enough and summit racing only lists the kind that you cut and have to basically make yourself which I've never done and don't really want to. any suggestions? |

Location: Branson, MO | You don’t say what engine you have but if it’s a big block wedge, O’Reilly’s had a great selection. I chose a ready to install set for my ‘60 Chrysler 383 that fit perfectly and looked factory stock. It was too long ago for me to remember the brand but they had the combination of 90 degree and straight plug ends that worked well with the exhaust manifolds and heat shields.
Good luck with your search.

Location: So. Cal | The best fit for the poly motors is a "Duralast Gold" wire set from Autozone that's made for the 351 Cleveland & 409 Chevy motors. They also have it listed for the '55-'58 Chrysler poly motors. It is part number D801176. This set also potentially works well on the hemi motors if you swap the boots & insulators on the ends, but if you are using the stock wire covers on the hemi, 2 or 3 wires will be too short. So to use them on a stock hemi motor with the covers, you would have to get 2 sets to make it work (maybe?), or get some extra long wires from some other set. I used these on my 331 hemi, and used some older wires to fill in for the long ones I needed.
