The passenger side rear window regulator in my 58 convertible is in bad shape, and would like to change to a good one. Anything will interchange? Maybe Chrysler or DeSoto? Thank you

I think what you are looking for is a 1697 406. Common across the 57-58 convertibles and some 57-58 Desoto and Chrysler 2 dr hardtops.

I think only a 57/58 Dodge.

I should have said 57/58 Dodge Convert only.
That will be a very difficult find!!
You may have to explore salvage and exchanging sector gears and arms etc from other models.
For example:
I wanted electric quarter window regulators for my Regal. None were available but I had already salvaged several rear door electric assemblies from the much more popular 4 Dr. HTs. So, I checked it out and found that I could disassemble them, cut and shorten the sector gear arms and flip them to mirror image and then weld them back together in a slightly different orientation. Problem solved!!

You may have to do something similar but the best news is that you have the damaged one as a pattern.

The canadian parts manual has the same informations: 1697 406-7 for all '57 convertible except Imperial. Same on DeSoto / Chrysler 2dr H/T.
It's curious that the Plymouth / Dodge 2dr H/T hasn't the same (.. 402-3).
