Location: Lower Mainland BC | I just spent a week in Turkey (Istanbul area) and was not able to connect to the forum. Prior to that I was in Milan and had no problem. Now I am in Northern Italy and there is no problem. So was Turkey being blocked for some reason by the Forum. Or is the Forum deemed to be decadent and not worthy by the Turkish internet police.
BTW: We had a great time there. People are friendly, things are generall very inexpensive and absolutely no signs of terrorism. Some signs of potential issues to come (e.g. machine gun turret on a police riot truck) but not much else. The mosques were beautiful.
I did take a photo of a Dodge in Istanbul that I will post when I get home.

Location: So. Cal | It is probably the Turkish government that blocked it. Probably not this site in particular, but maybe a lot of US based sites. When I stayed in China, I couldn't access anything. No google, ebay, facebook, amazon, this site, or anything else I would want to use. I only had access to Chinese sites, which were crap in comparison. Using their Bing search, I couldn't find anything while there, unless maybe it was in chinese, and I didn't recognize it. |

Location: Frederick, MD | You need a VPN. It's what I had to use when I lived in Pakistan. I was using Witopia and was very happy with it. I'm sure there are plenty of options.

Hey, if still in Milan, drop to see me...
Sorry, not in Milan anymore. Would have been good. I forgot to ask if anybody was around before I left.
I did get to some US sites, including eBay.com so no Forward Look was odd.
