| On my 1957 Dodge D 500, the dash amp gauge, jumps around in an erratic fashion at speeds over 45 - 50 MPH. However, it acts normal at idle and up to speeds of 45 MPH.
No electrical items are on, for example lights or radio or blower etc. everything is in off position, while the AMP gauge jumps around
Should I rebuild generator? Could it be a voltage regulator or some other issue?
thank you Bob

Location: Lower Mainland BC | The gauge is fine. Your issue is with either the regulator or the generator.
Sorry.
