Looks really nice! Not as nice as the 58 Fireflite I posted, but still a very clean orignal vehicle. Guy has put some money into it rebuilding the tranny and other mechanical parts.

Looks like a good car but not sure about the mileage claim.

If the car's been stored for 45 years, that means it was there since 1974. From 1960 to 1974 I would venture a guess that the actual mileage is 117,045 which wold account for the worn interior.

Look at the brake pedal. Clearly 117 000 and I do not think he wanted to misrepresent it, as he posted a 6-digit number.
He just misplaced the comma.
Nice car, hopefully it gets into good hands.

Being a reserve auction, it's marginally entertaining to sit back and see where it goes. Sellers who are serious about selling the car put up their minimum price and let it go from there.

Funny thing I discovered it is a LA-plant (California) Fury before I spotted the VIN. Look at the trunk lid. There is a huge piece missing from the right rear trunk edge. I've seen lots of LA 1960s with that, never from another plant. You can't adjust it away. It is a lot worse if you see it in person. My Fury had the same problem. It is only the outher skin and it even keeps the inner skin from getting in contact with the seal. I thought it is an early production thing, but this one is not.
I fixed that on my car (after I had it painted ) but it wasn't easy.
