How do I remove the fuel tank drain on the bottom of the tank
It has probably been there since day one. Should I just use
liquid wrench and let it sit for days and then try it.
Thanks Alex

Sounds like a plan. I *think* (*IF* I remember mine correctly), the drain plug has a 1/2"square receiver for a tool to turn it, i.e. use a big 1/2" x 21" breaker bar.
UPDATE: I just took this photo of my car's fuel tank drain plug. Looks like a 12 point/triple square (but a 1/2" breaker bar will work)

IMHO, this is where 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' may be your best bet. If it's not leaking, leave it alone. I had trouble keeping it from leaking once removed.

Thanks for the info. Good idea if is not broke don't fix it .
I just wanted to drain it to see if any thing in it.
I had the tank cleaned years ago and no gas was put
in it. I want to put gas in it now so I thought now is the time
to check it out before gas goes in

Drop the tank and look inside. If it was out for cleaning years ago, it should not be too difficult to remove again. Also verify that there is a filter on the pick up tube.
