For a 326 2bbl:
Current Values
#1 Concours $55,600
#2 Excellent $41,400
#2 vehicles could win a local or regional show. They can be former #1 vehicles that have been driven or have aged. Seasoned observers will have to look closely for flaws, but will be able to find some not seen by the general public. The paint, chrome, glass and finishes will all appear as excellent. No excessive smoke will be seen on startup, no unusual noises will emanate from the engine. The vehicle will drive as a new vehicle of its era would. The one word description for #2 vehicles is "excellent."
#3 Good $26,900
#4 Fair | |

They do have these categories to investigate:
1959 Dodge Coronet 2dr Club Sedan 8-cyl. 326cid/255hp 2bbl
1959 Dodge Coronet 2dr Club Sedan 8-cyl. 383cid/320hp 4bbl
1959 Dodge Coronet 2dr Club Sedan 8-cyl. 383cid/345hp 2x4bbl

Location: NY & VT | Those Hagerty values are ridiculous for a 26 dr Coronet sedan, engines notwithstanding. They have an incentive as they benefit from inflated values when people go to insure their car, and they sure don't payout that way! (I have my own vintage cars with Hagerty). I've found Old Cars Price Guide to be far more realistic going back to when I subscribed to their paper back in the '70s. | |

Location: Under the X in Texas | IMO Hagerty puts numbers in their value guide that are significantly too high so that their customers will insure their cars HOPING they are worth THAT MUCH. More money for Hagerty. Come time for a claim I doubt you will settle for anything like their guide numbers.
