Location: Kalispell, MT USA | Found this in the parking lot of Super 1 foods in Whitefish, MT on my lunch today. Turns out to belong to Dan from Northridge Automotive here in Columbia Falls. I noticed the wheels first, then the sooty dual exhaust tips. Turns out to have a 5.9 Cummins and a 46RH trans. What a shock! I snapped a few photos...

Location: So. Cal | No room for the heater box. Put some heavy duty rear springs on that, with a hitch, and start towing. |

Location: Muskego, WI | That is so RAD! There was a guy in Montana that built a 1960 or 1961 Dodge station wagon with a 5.9 Cummins a few years ago, is this the same guy? |

I don't think so. I've seen that guy, he has built several car/4x4 coversions: Buick Wildcat, 60 Cadillac coupe deville, 53 buick special wagon, etc. |

Location: Lower Mainland BC | Whoever it is, he/she might want to re-think the turbo to intake manifold flow tube. It's obviously contacting the underside of the 57 Dodge hood and the resulting dint has restricted flow area and is causing back pressure.
Current Situation:
Revised situation where the yellow line represents the underside of the hood:
(Just and observation and suggestion):

I think he should run a charge air cooler, and could reroute the ducts when doing that. Maybe a bid ol' hood scoop and run it across the top on the engine, ala Subaru. |
