Location: San Antonio TX | Another Dodge hardtop wagon! A very cool (and rare!) top of the line Polara wagon here. Looks like a "barn find" that was found in an actual barn. Aside from power windows, this thing is really well optioned: hardtop, factory AC, power brakes, third row seat, compass, 383, and the roof rack. I'm probably missing some options that some more eagle eyed members may spot. The A/C isn't complete, and is missing the compressor and condenser. No title, doesn't run, rusty as hell, and despite all that the bids are creeping close to $10 grand. Aside from the A/C, the car looks complete, which saves whoever gets it the trouble of finding all that unfindable Polara trim. Probably a near one-of-a-kind car considering the options and the low manufacturing numbers, and the bidding seems to reflect that. Don't normally post a lot of pics, but these are pretty scarce. https://www.ebay.com/itm/312734021244 |

Ron A convertible is definitely going to be a more valuable car, but I could see this thing outpricing a Polara 2D hardtop that isn't as well optioned. I mean, 2D hardtops are awesome, but this wagon is just so unique and well appointed. If I were given a choice between this and a hardtop coupe of the same year and options, I'd probably go for the wagon. You could probably take this to a show every week for 10 years and never come across another hardtop wagon like it. |
