Valve covers off a 260 poly low mileage 55 Plymouth. NO dings, dents, rust. Has acorn nuts, and wire harness loom bracket. Original paint.
If I remember the story correctly, in 55 Plymouth had NOT yet developed their own V8s and were forced to use the Dodge Poly V8s (by 1956 they had their own poly V8) Therefore, the 55 Plymouth and 55 Dodge poly V8 valve covers were the same, PN 1552 950.
On a side note (while the list below is there), the 57 Dodge D500 valve cover was the same as the 56 Dodge D500 valve cover, even though the 57 325 used hydraulic lifters and did not need the clearance bumps that the 56 315 solid lifter rockers needed, PN 1615 904.
