I'm getting ready to update the brakes in my '61 Savoy, here's what I have:
-Front disc kit from AAJ
-Cordoba rotors and bearings
-GM calipers, pads and hoses
-stock rear drums
-early 1980s Cordoba dual res mastery cylinder (no residual valves)

My only real question is, what residual or equalizing valve do I need for the rear drums. If I could find it, I would use the valve from the 1980s Cordobas as well, but I don't know how/where to get a new one.

How about a proportioning valve from the Cordoba ?

Parts house new adjustable valve and you can dial it in very simply.

I would but an RPV in the rear brake circuit and wait on the prop valve until you can test the system for premature rear lockup.

On my '60 Plym I used '77 NYer spindles & calipers, a 9" rear, a later in the '60s disc/drum M/C & a Summit proportioning valve.
