| I still have not discovered a couple of things on my 1959 Imperial restoration. One is the plastic (vinyl) center of the steering wheel. To the best of my knowledge a replacement does not exist, I intend to make a fiberglass one and cover it with vinyl unless anyone has suggestions for doing it easier and better.
I am finding that getting my missing letters I and M of the IMPERIAL fender script is a long shot. I am considering 3D printing and chroming the plastic letters may be my only choice, any suggestions along those lines?
Owners manuals seem available for every car except mine. I suspect a photocopy will be my best choice.
The crinkle surface paint on the top "crown" is no longer manufactured nor available. Has anyone found a substitute that looks at least similar?
Any help would be appreciated!
