Location: McComb, Mississippi | I'm thinking about making a small emergency kit to carry in the glovebox of my Imperial. So far, it'll consist of a flat blade/Philips head screwdriver, ballast resistor, ignition module, fuses, couple of spare relays, multimeter, and flashlight. Do any of you carry such a kit? If so, any other small pieces that you can suggest to go along with my kit? Thanks |

Hence;
Electric jack
Jackstands aluminum
Carbon oxide flask with tire repair kit
Socket set
Full tool case
All ignition parts
Spark plugs
Fuel pump
Carburetor small parts
Rubber hoses
Hose clamps
Electrical wires
FSM
Front wheel bearings (one big and one small)

Location: Blythewood, SC | I carry a socket set, some wrenches, pliers, adjustable wrench, srew drivers, some wire, and a cell phone. Realistically, I'm not likely to try to hard to fix something on the side of the road. I'll just call a flatbed and have it towed home and fix it right. |

My kit is a cell phone and credit card. |

And most probably the reason I never had a breakdown out on a road trip.
I have helped many friends and guys with problems though.
To see a troubled face shine up in a smile over just one hose clamp and some water is priceless |

Indeed, that is why I carry them along, knowing I will never need them then |

Location: Parts Unknown | About 25 years ago, at a NDC National meet, a group did an organized tour over
the Santa Cruz Mountains. Somebody in the group just sorta "lost power" to the
wheels, and a quick inspection revealed a snapped axle ! I was about drop jawed
when another member popped off with "Hold on a minute, I've got one in my trunk"
and returned with the needed part !!!
