| Hey y’all. What do you think about changing the trim of your FL cars to different levels. Like making a Savoy into a Belvedere. I’m sure it would affect resale value; as long as one isn’t dishonest and trying to pass off a car as something it’s not. I want to “upgrade” my 60 Dodge Seneca into a pioneer because I think it looks slick. Who else has done this? If you’re restoring a car is this frowned upon? |

| some on the internet will always frown on anything... but I am turning my 57 Royal into a 57 Regal Lancer clone
So I am swapping the full trim. I am also prepping 59 front end parts to swap it into a 59 if I want.
I filled the holes in my body panels though and I will probably double sided 3m tape the trim on the doors/quarters. Maybe redrill holes on the fender to handle the 57 to 59 front swap easy.
i haven't gotten really any push back because my 58 regal lancer was (missing trim) and totally rotted out(no title, no vin, no engine) either... and i saved the 57 Royal was just kind of a base car.

Location: Ponder, TX | I'm using some trim from a '56 Fury on my Belvedere and turning it into a Fury tribute. Both the Belvedere and the Fury parts car were mostly junk, so salvaging either to a stock configuration was impossible. Nothing will be done to the car to present it as an original '56 Fury. |

Location: Ferndale, WA 98248 | I'm building my 61 Newport convertible into a 300G tribute car. I'm leaving all the Newport trim on, and when I'm old and ready to sell it will fully disclose what it is. |
