Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | It's a really nice car Ed! I like it. Ad script: Here's a nice, original and somewhat rare 1957 Dodge Coronet 2Dr Sedan.
Sold new in Soccoro, New Mexico and it is now in Arizona.
The original owner stopped driving the car 15-20 years due to him getting up there in age and he could not drive anymore. The Dodge has 84.100 original miles.
There's service books dating back to the 60's in the glove box showing that he put most miles on the Dodge in the 60's. So the car has not seen many miles in the last 50 years.
He ordered the car with 325 V8, 3 speed Torqueflite pushbutton transmission, tinted glass, dual exterior mirrors etc.
The Coronet also has the rare see through plastic sunvisors, large DeLuxe stainless gravel guards and chromed exhaust outlets.
Due to the lengthy storage I have done a lot of service work to the Dodge to make it running and driving again.
Boiled out fuel tank, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt brakes, new dual exhaust system, complete new interior, redone steering wheel, I had the rear bumper trippel show chrome plated, new tail light lenses, rebuilt water pump, new battery and on and on.
The Coronet had rubber floor mats, not carpet and when water gets in under the rubber it takes forever to dry so I had to cut out a part of the inside floor and replace 50% of the floor using fresh metal.
The white paint is original and from 1957, I added the red to spice it up a little.
The Dodge is still mostly original and unrestored and pretty nice.
PRICE: $14.900
