"originally had a poly engine, unique 331" hemi engine with D501block casting installed by dealer"
Smells fishy to me.

Location: So. Cal | ?Huh? I don't get it. D501 is supposed to be a '57 354 poly block with hemi heads. How is a '51-'53 (Extended block) or '54 331 hemi motor being termed as a D501? What does "D501 block casting installed by dealer" even mean here? Sounds about the same as a dealer Fury Sorry Charlie, I think you should change your ad to reflect reality. Someone installed an early 331 hemi into a '57 Dodge, and put on the D501 badge, that's all. |
